Please read the following steps carefully

Note: If you are a prospective athletic training student, please visit the AT Program advising page or schedule an appointment to meet with Melinda Lake for advising.  If you are a current athletic training student, please visit the AT Program advising page or contact Dr. Liz Hibberd (eehibberd@ches.ua.edu) for advising.

Note:  If you are planning to pursue an allied health graduate program (e.g., medicine, dentistry, optometry, physician assistance, physical therapy), you should visit http://prehealth.ua.edu for more information. Students can make an appointment with a prehealth advisor at http://as.ua.edu/appointment.

Note: No advising/registration holds are placed on student accounts by your advisor.

    1. Review your transcript and planner in Degree Works to determine which courses to take the next semester. Please use the pre-loaded plan in Degree Works (located under “Student” tab in myBama) if no plan has been established.
    2. Using the myBama course listings, plan a draft schedule of classes, as well as alternate courses with Schedule Builder, which is found under the "Student" tab in myBama. You must have a draft schedule before meeting with an advisor.
    3. If necessary, make an appointment with an advisor.
    4. Bring the draft schedule to your advising appointment.
    5. Be on time for your appointment.
    6. See https://registrar.ua.edu/student-services/registration and click "Registration Dates and Times" for your individual registration time assignment.
